Departed Yacht Haven Annapolis. Passed through mooring field. Had Leah work on holding the vessel head to wind for raising mainsail. Took a couple attempts but we made it. Raised with reef in place. Sailed out to "A" located south of Greenbury Point. Shook out reef. Sailed somewhat off of close hauled back toward the harbor. Encouraged both Leah and Tal to spend time at the helm to learn and to focus on that activity that they might relax more on the boat. Later rolled out the jib as well. Learned upon furling the jib that too much tension on the jib sheets, trying to get a very nice furl, will cause the roller to bind (halyard wrap?). Backing off on jib sheet tension while furling eliminates the problem. Takes about 30 minutes from arriving at the dock till we depart. Perhaps the same in putting the boat away. Need to time that. Still Tal had a wonderful time. Don't know if its a wonderful time sailing or awonderful time spending time with her father.
