Departed Yacht Haven Annapolis. Gentle breezes in the Severn. Tacked, formed a course for the middle of the Chesapeake Bay. Past close by R "4" and Y "A". Observed the opreys. Sailed out past G C "1". Turned for home about 12:00. Wind went quite soft. Begin to motor in. Tal drove nearly to the Naval Academy while I furled sails. Wind stronger in the Severn, but crew tired and sails furled with cover in place, so continued to motor to the dock.
