The Shields hose used to connect the engine intake thru hull to the strainer is quite stiff. When using it to connect the strainer to the raw water pump, the hose would not conform to the 5/8" raw water pump intake fitting. Used a bit of single wall 5/8" hose from the AquaDuk temporarily on March 17th to allow starting the engine.

Replaced raw water strainer outlet 1/2" full flow fitting with 3/4" hose barb with a Groco PTH-5062 which has a stepped hose barb of 1/2" and 5/8" diameters
Replaced single wall 5/8" hose from the AquaDuk with Trident Marine 5/8" (16mm) #100-0580 Flex Series 250/100
