Met Hank at Yacht Haven Annapolis Eastport MD at 7:30AM. Drove to Smith's Marina arriving at 08:15. Verified that all thru hulls were closed. Launched boat via travel lift. After being set floating in the haul out slip, started engine, removed slings and moved to the end of one of the docks to tie up. When starting engine, never forget to engage the "disengagement rod"! Paid Smith's. Bought water and chips. Slight weeping from head raw water thru hull. Noticeable water in bilge. Water entering in a small rivuelet from the stuffing box. Shoved off at 09:15. Left with care as we had run around on the way in last fall . Headed for the American flag on the last dock, then formed course for G"3" south of St Helena Island. Crossed Little Round Bay with force 4 winds from the SW over the starboard quarter. Before reaching R"6", turned SW down the Severn River. Passed under the Route 50 bridge at 10:00, winds strengthened to force 5. No whitecaps due to the wind's fetch being limited to the width of the river.
Reached Yacht Haven Annapolis , tied up and shut down engine by 10:38. Engine had cooled from about 160d to 135d by that time. At 10:50, left with Hank for Smith's Marina to fetch the car. Returned to Yacht Haven Annapolis by 11:55 to check on boat and adjust lines.
