Adjusted the dock lines in the morning before work. Depth sounder reading 3.6 feet in slip A-5. Perhaps the lowest that I have seen it. Several boats were "hanging" from their lines with either the stern or the bow out of the water. The bow pulpit was about 10.5 inches below the level of the dock.
Returned after work to check docks lines again. Made small adjustments.
- Removed plug located on heat exchanger cap starboard side aft. Some water dribbled out, not much. Not enough. Gently poked a bit with an awl to remove some "crud". No evidence of a zinc. Perhaps it had been completely consumed.
- Removed raw water hose from heat exchange cap forward. Can see a vane from an impeller. The impeller Was not missing a vane when I purchased Constance. Must check if the vane has broken off since recommissioning the engine.
- Replaced bulb in bow navigation light. Old style bulb 10W 12V bulb with festoon (concave) ends. NOTE: Stern light has new style bulbs with conical ends.
- Stuffing box weeping at the rate of one drop every 110 seconds
