- Opened electical cabinet. Secured by six stainless steel flat head Philips screws. Trim secured by four stainless steel oval head Philips screws.
- Cleaned fiberglass inside cabinet with Clorox to remove all mold and leave an "anti-mold" residue.
- Labeled all wires.
- Removed abandoned wire attached to DC panel.
- Recorded all wire connections (see Electrical ).
- Closed electrical cabinet.
- Measured resistance on each pair of the three wires protruding from mast (see Electrical ).
- White coax cable cover, presumably for the VHF, is heavily cracked, most likely allowing significant mooisture contamination of wiring.
