Purpose: Examine Electrical Panel, Secure Temporary Rear Lazarette Hatch

  • Checked the wiring of the Marinco Guest Battery Selector Switch . There are four positions on the switch "Off", "1", "2" and "Both". There are three power terminals on the back of the device "Battery 1", "Battery 2", and "Feeder". The positions of the terminals does NOT match the switch positions.
    • "Battery 1" terminal connects via a Red 2AWG cable to the "1" fore battery
    • "Battery 2" terminal connects via a Black 4AWG cable to the aft battery and "Battery" terminal of the m Series Mini On-Off Battery Switch with Key (6005)
    • "Feeder" terminal connects via a a Black 4AWG cable to the alternator
  • Checked the wiring of the Blue Sea Systems m Series Mini On-Off Battery Switch with Key (6005)
    • "Battery" terminal connects via a Black ?AWG to "Battery 2" of Guest Battery Selector Switch
    • "Common" terminal connects via Black ?AWG to DC+ bus of the 82204
  • Replaced missing screw securing head door hinges. One screw still missing, bottom hinge middle hole, due to screw broken off at wood door frame at that location
  • Resistance of a Dimple Festoon Bulb (12.0V 10.0W 0.83A) , when unpowered, is 2.3 ohms
  • Secured temporary rear lazaretter cover using the bronze hinges that came with the boat
  • Verified transmit and receive function of VHF 600 by calling Argo at Mueller Marine from Yacht Haven Annapolis
  • Measured the size of the missing trapezoid of marine plywood required to fill the v-berth: 21" top, 35-14/" bottom, 29-5/8" diagonal, ~28" vertical, 5/8" measured thickness
