Easy sail with a single reef in the main till everyone became somewhat accustomed to the boat's motion. After about an hour, as the wind eased to lower Force 4, rolled out the jib. Tacked out to an area north and a bit east of Tolly Point . First tack in line with the northern radio towers on Greenbury Point. Second tack to an area east of Eastport bouy "1E". Third tack to an area east of "A". Fourth tack out of the Severn. Wide lazy tacks.

Heard via VHF of a freighter coming to anchor to the east of Tolly Point. First time to hear of that on the radio. Ran back in under sail and engine due to a decline in child patience.

2800 RPM on the engine driving the boat at 6 knots.

Problem encountered: drum of Furlex would wind around the headstay with the foil while furling genoa. Examination needed.
