Time to get the steaming light working in preparation for a vessel safety check. There are two cables that exit the mast at the bottom on the port side. One is a gray duplex cable which, I believe, connects to the anchor light and to the through deck electrical four prong socket fitting. The second is a triplex cable which connects to the Forespar ML-2 Combination Deck / Steaming Light . Only two of the four prongs are connected on deck. Inside, all four prongs are connected but only the aft two are easily traceable due to the aft two connecting to the only duplex cable that runs from the forward cabin to the electrical panel. The duplex cable connects to the fourth circuit breaker, the one labeled "Anchor Light". The anchor light does not illuminate. Burned out bulb or wiring problem perhaps. There is voltage on the aft two leads of the four prong connectors when the fourth circuit breaker, the one labeled "Anchor Light", is energized.

Severed the connection between the aft two leads and the grey duplex cable exiting the mast. Tested the ML-2 Combination Deck / Steaming Light using the aft two leads of the four prong connector. Both the steaming light and the deck light illuminate.

Connected the steaming light to the aft two prongs of the through deck connector. The steaming light works! Time to schedule the vessel safety check. Should the schedule permit, will switch from using the cabin side navigation lights to the bow pulpit mounted Need entry for AquaSignal 25 bi-color light.
