2016 Wednesday Night Races
cancelled due to lack of wind. Time to work on the boat!
- Tested cable from electrical panel to the base of the mast for the anchoring light. 6 volts at the base of the mast. The electrical cable appears to be zip cord/lamp cord original to the boat in 1967. A number of butt connectors have been added over the years at both ends with wire nuts in the head connecting the two ends. No wonder the anchor light will not light up.
- Ran a test cable from the electrical panel to the two wires feeding the anchor light through the deck. The anchor light illuminates. Have to run a permanent connection.
- Removerd several electrical cables abandoned in place, some reaching from the electrical panel to the head.
- Enabled the bow bi-color Need entry for AquaSignal 25
