- Stopped at Home Depot for cleaning supplies: 3 gallon bucket, 1 gallon Clorox bleach, Old English lemon scented wood oil, and an additional small item storage flat
- Tightened the engine raw water pump belt.
- Removed everything from the starboard side of the main cabin, including abandoned wires below settee, speaker, and AC wiring at just ahead of the galley,
- Vacuumed the starboard side of the main cabin.
- Mixed 2 gallons of hot water, a few good glugs of bleach, and a solid squirt of Joy dish soap.
- Washed and dried all areas:
- inside the lockers,
- outboard of the settee backs,
- under the settes,
- inside the drawer,
- under side of the side decks,
- inside of cabin wall,
- overhead,
- bulkhead shared with hanging locker,
- galley storage areas,
- galley counters,
- stove,
- aft wall of cabin.
- The two places not addressed are: wet locker aft of galley, and under the drawer shelf below the forward end of the settee.
- Did NOT replace the gear, will give the cleaned surfaces time to air before doing so.
- Found a completely deteriorated Duracell D cell battery in the bilge forward of the line at aft end of the cabin sole. Evidently, the bilge extends forward there some amount. Would bear a bit of a look.
- Plugged in the ABC123 15 amp battery charger
