Wind blowing down 2nd Avenue, blowing the boat against the direction that she must pivot to leave the slip. Had to manhandle her a bit around the aft port piling. Still ended up withe starboard side far too close to the motor boat and Second-2-Nun. Need to hang the blue collision mat over the starboard side in the area that is opposite the motor boats propeller. Inched out of the slip alleyway as its impossible to see over the Cruise Annapolis boats tied up along the Chart House.
Motored out to the area off EYC and SSA to remove the fenders, sail cover, and winch covers. Raised sail, unfurled the jib and away we go. Sailed on starboard tack out to Greenbury Point shoal. Tacked and sailed on port to near "1E". Back to starboard tack and out to beyond the line joining Hackett's G "1" and R "2". Tacked back to port and sailed somewhat in the direction of R "2". Fell fo the wind and reached back, quite near Horn Point.
Dropped sail and prepared for docking in the deep EYC and SSA.
Returned to dock without any drama.
