Left the dock on time, very soon after Wicked
Course A1. Downwind start. Over early and called on it. Dropped spinnaker onto the foredeck by dropping the pole, bringing the foot of the sail together, and then flacking down the sail onto the foredeck. That part went well. Ended up raising spinnaker and connecting the pole on the way back to the line as the wind shifted about. Took us nearly five minutes to sail the two or three boat lengths required.
Dropped the kite into the companionway and restarted. TC took the middle course again actively picking lanes with pressure. Lingin, Wicked and Skybird went hard right. Rounded the single mark in third....somehow.
Fished the chute of the companionway, passed it around the starboard shrouds, and raised it from the foredeck. Only then did we put it back in the pole. Chased all the way back to R "8" without gaining for losing meaningfully. Did keep pace with Qa2, a J92S for a decent amount of time...took them a while before they were able to pull away.
Finishing order: Lingin, Wicked, Argo, Skybird, and Second-2-Nun.
