Course D1. Starting line just by from Horn Point. Upwind first leg. Great weather. Bit of chop, a bit of a confused sea, but nothing big.
Good start near the boat on starboard tack, leeward of Lingin by one length and ahead by the same, windward of Wicked by one length and behind the same amount. Lost ground to both Lingin and Wicked during this board. Tacked to port. Lingin followed a bit later. Wicked signficantly later. Wicked maintained her habit of sailing on starboard till a bit short of the layline and then tacking. By the windward mark we were behind Wicked, Lingin, and Laughing Gull, in that order. Wicked had a very red bottom, no evidence of any growth and had replaced their three blade prop with a two blade.
On the downwind leg, flew spinnaker on port tack. By the time we were going well, and I could look around, Wicked as well ahead, perhaps 300 yards?. Laughing Gull was to starboard and sailed farther to starboard down the course. Argo sailed close by the G "5", a mark of the course when sailing D1. By this time we had pulled even with Laughing Gull. Some J-30(?) forced her way in between us and the R "8" mark making for a bit of excitement at the rounding.
Somewhere, somehow in the harbor Lingin passed Wicked to finish first.
Finishing order: Lingin, Wicked, Argo, Skybird, Second-2-Nun, and Laughing Gull.
