Tacked several times in the river trying to work on tacking angles. As a result of watching the tells on the jib, moved the cars aft one position so that they are in the seventh hole from the aft end of the track. Meaning that there are six holes showing. That change improved the breaking of the tells.
After a while of this, and some continuing disappointment in my pointing ability, headed out to the bay. Soon as we cleared Greenbury Point, by R "6", the wind immediately rose to Force 4. The effect of land blocking a northerly wind was removed.
Nailed the entry into the slip. Just beautiful.
