Spoke with John Beyerlein. Spoke with Mike Lehman, who was at the ChartHouse. Then headed out quickly with the sail cover still in place.

Raised sail, avoided racing fleets, three of them: SSA, Navy, and one other. Close hauled after rounding Annapolis R "4" to head for Whitehall Bay. Received a phone call from Lanny Helms about the Rankin Regatta. Talked about the entrance to Whitehall Bay as well. He warned me about North Shoal extending off Hackett Point and the narrowness of the entrance. Passed by Mike Meinhold in Rinn Duin #272, under power, bringing the boat to the Williams residence for the Rankin Regatta. Entered the bay as far as the Whitehall R "4". By then the wind had died.

Still tacking wide angles as evidenced by the track from Annapolis R "4" to the North Shoal off Hackett Point

Lower and flaked the main, davened minchah, rolled the jib. Turned on the engine and headed back to Yacht Haven Annapolis.

Nailed the entry into the slip. Just beautiful.
