- Sanded the filled holes in the cockpit walls and the deck.
- Sanded the filled manual bilge pump hole.
- Reattached the life lines.
- Extracted a broken off raw water impeller vane from the intake header of the heat exchanger using a dental tool. The vane was visible from the inlet to the intake header of the heat exchanger. Been there since I purchased the boat.
- Test fired the engine. Managed to make several mistakes. Forgot to reconnect the hole from the outlet of the raw water pump to the heat exchanger. Dumped water into the bilge. Addressed that issue. Seemed to take quite a while for the raw water pump fill the waterlock muffler, till finally the engine began driving water out the exhaust. Forgot to open the fuel petcock; ran the engine out of diesel fuel. Opened the petcock, bleed the fuel system at the on-engine fuel filter, use the battery to complete priming the engine. Signficantly drained the aft battery; needs to be charged.
- Ran the engine till it heated up throughly. Had the raw water pump pull from a Home Depot bucket placed on the sole of the cabin. Used a hose with attached nozzle to refill the bucket as needed so that the engine always had sufficient raw water.
- Throttle wont stay put. Need to find the correct place to adjust it.
