Breeze varying in both strength and direction, from 12 knots to 3 knots, and from NNW to SW.

Started sailing wing-n-wing downriver. Course required to keep both sails filled changed a good over time, as did the wind speed. After a while decided to come a little bit more onto the wind and head for the Annapolis weather buoy. Sailed out past the weather buoy and then turned around. Bit of tacking practice till forced to head off to honor R "4". Wind kept dropping. Gave up and returned to Yacht Haven Annapolis.
