AYC WNR Series 1 Number 1 on 26 July 2017

Course A3. Bottom not cleaned since the EYC Boomerang in early July, nearly three weeks.

Started close below LinGin. Lin Gin who was close below Wicked. All three of us gave up about fifteen boat lengths to Laughing Gull. Laughing Gull started at the pin. The start nearly set the finishing order. We sailed lower and slower than both LinGin and Wicked, and rounded the upwind mark significantly behind Laughing Gull, Wicked, and LinGin, but significantly ahead of Second-2-Nun. We sailed alone to the finish. Wicked had spinnaker issues when rounding R "8" that caused her to basically douse and re-set.

Finishing order: Laughing Gull, LinGin, Wicked, Argo, and Second-2-Nun.
