Out for a pleasant sail with Amishav. Not paying much attention to tacking angles and jib trim.
Headed downwind, wing and wing, to G "1L". Hardened up a bit to a beam reach. Then started tacking back into the Severn. Tacked at Horn Point, then tacked back due to the Harbor Queen preferring to hold course without adjustment. Tacked again, and then once more when we could clear G "SR". Sailed to AYC, to show Amishav the finish of the Wendesday Night Races.
Furled the jib. Started the engine, keeping the speed low, perhaps 1400rpm due to fuel issues. Had Amishav drive while I flaked the main. Engine stopped due to fuel blockage when we were on the north side of the mooring field. Unfurled a small amount of jib and sailed to the Chart House. Furled the jib and coasted down the alleyway, downwind, at 1.2kts. Turned into the slip and grabbed the spring lines to stop. Worked. No drama. First time sailing into the slip!
Engine went from able to run at 2000rpm to stopped in less than an hour of run time.
