- Sanded cockpit, winch bases, and indent cover, as needed, with 120 grit. Took about an hour.
- Washed cockpit and allow to dry before proceeding.
- Applied second coat of Pre-Kote
. Very little left, perhaps enough to second coat port winch base and rudder stock penentration. Took about two hours.

- Sand undercoat with 220 grit.
- Wash and tack cloth.
- Apply first coat of Brightside
undercoat.
