The following from memory on Saturday night.

Four races of four legs, each about one nautical mile. Much went wrong, lines fouling, lazy jib sheets tangled, spinnaker hourglassed, spinnaker difficult to prefeed from the bag. Lost distance on the upwind legs.

First race: started near the pin end below Windswept and Laughing Gull. Pinned and unable to tack. Finally tacked and forced into a severe duck to get past Windswept. Lost ground on the upwind leg, partially by going to the righthand, inshore, side of the course. Finishing order: 562, 11, 197, 247, 484.

Second race: started near the pin again. Went to the right, somewhat after Laughing Gull. Lost the wind on the right, while Laughing Gull still had some due to their being closer to the center of the course and upwind of us. Finished fourth. Finishing order: 562, 197, 11, 247, 484. Third race: Started near the boat. Suceeded in shutting out Laughing Gull, only to be forced up over the line early just at the start by Laughing Gull. Forced to turn so quickly that the port corner of the stern nearly collided with the starboard side of Laughing Gull abaft the beam. At the finish nearly pipped Latika by finishing on port tack within a couple feet of the committee boat. Dragged the boom across the committee boat, knocking down a stepladder like 2x4 construction and scaring the committee. Ruled as having retired from the race. Finishing order: 197, 562, 11, 484.

Fourth race: Failed to start, went past the pin. Finished fourth. Finishing order: 197, 562, 11, 247, 484.
