Course A2. Dave on bow. Gigi in the pit. Started near the pin end. Ended up sailing along and a bit above the line to pass about 10 to 15 yards upwind of the committee boat. Three more tacks to reach the pin. Harry started at the boat, so appeared to gain a substantial early lead. By the first mark, we were ahead of all the Cal 25's and Harry. At the turning mark, White Cap, a Cal 25, was neaar and soon overtook us. Cal 25's have a PHRF rating of about 230, as do Alberg 30's.

Spinnaker run back to R "8". Slow and messy hoist. Gigi learning how Argo is set up and the duties of pit. Dave misconnected the spinnakers sheets, starboard sheet to port clew resulting in an hour-glassed spinnaker. White Cap got away from us. Easy near beam reach (345d) to R "8". A number of tacks to reach the finish.

Finishing order: Argo, Second-2-Nun, Laughing Gull (DNC), LinGin (DNC), Skybird (DNC).
