Running late as TC was working on adding washers to the screws holding the two portlights replaced last Wednesday. Were not ready for the start, still was not so bad. All the other boats but LinGin did not start well.
Course A2. Downwind start. Clear of everyone near the boat. LinGin sailed low, directly for the first mark and the rounding mark. In doing so, LinGinn gained on the entire fleet throughout the downwind leg. Laughing Gull repeatedly tried to dirty our air. Finally got there as we neared the green marks on the south side of the Severn. Second-2-Nun gybed and we followed, as did Laughing Gull.
Ugly mark rounding. Uncoordinated with Dave on bow and I doing pit and jib. LinGin well ahead. Laughing Gull a bit ahead. TC sailed very well upwind, passing Laughing Gull and closing some of the distance on LinGin. Jibstay on Argo was quite loose. Could have been falling off about a foot. Doesn't seem to hurt TC's ability to sail to windward.
Finishing order: LinGin, Argo, Laughing Gull, Second-2-Nun, Skybird (DNC).
