Good wind at the start. Seeing as much as 16kts apparent. Commonly 13kts. Very nice sail out to G "91", often moving at better than 5kts, hitting 6kts from time to time. Decided to tack around G "91". Savage ebb current pushed us downstream of G "91" from several yards above to several yards below in less than 20 yards of distance. Wind dropped sharply on the return trip, speed dropped to less than 3kts. Started the motor and returned to dock.
