Gentle breeze at the downwind start, strengthening to the upper range of the same by the turn.
Course A1. Argo started nearer the pin, on port gybe, upwind of the fleet. Good speed downwind, slowly rolled over Laughing Gull and LinGin. About 70 yards from the mark, had to gybe to starboard in order to lay the mark, so gybed. Started to come up to pass behind Laughing Gull, when Laughing Gull gybed as well, poorly. Laughing Gull nearly stopped, forcing us to do the same. LinGin not involved and gained significantly on both during this fiasco.
Rounded the turning mark and started under main and jib.
Finished at R "8".
Finishing order: LinGin, Argo, Laughing Gull, Second-2-Nun, Skybird (DNC).
