Purchased a soft shackle, low friction ring, and 45 feet of 5/16" red Sta-Set from APS to rig a second reef in the main. The low friction ring is on backorder. Test rigged and used the second reef. Looks like it will work well.
Tried hoisting the jib without using the diverter block which is located at the bottom and to the side of the slot for the main halyard to exit the mast. No good. The jibstay is attached with two tangs to the masthead fitting. The tangs appear to have five or six holes based upon using a pair of binoculars. The jib halyard block is attached to these tangs! Byapssing the diverter block places the jib halyard parallel to the 200 S furler which will result in the jib halyard wrapping around the furler. There is a tang on the front side of the mast above the slot for the main halyard. The jib halyard block should have been attached to the tang. Need to go up the mast to fix this. Raising the jib as far as possible, by not using the diverter block, results in the jib tack being about nine inches above the roller furler tack attachment point.
