Returning to dock after the 2019 Annapolis NOOD
on Sunday, the engine was running a bit rough. Time to change the filters. Perhaps a bit past time.
- Changed on engine fuel filter and o-ring. Just a little bit of material in the filter vessel.
- Changed off engine fuel filter and o-ring. A couple drops of water in the filter vessel. Visible discoleration of filter media in one location on one side, about 3/4" to 1" in diameter.
- Reran fuel supply line in the starboard cockpit locker so that it is not intertwined with the engine control cables. An error I made last Spring when reinstalling the engine controls after refinishing the cockpit.
- Tested fuel in tank with Gasoila
. No water.
- Added Star Tron SEF Diesel
and added Biobor JF Diesel
to fuel tank.
- Cleaned and lubricated both cabin top winches, Lewmar 16 single speed.
- Test fired engine and ran her at 2,600rpm, pulling against the spring lines, for about 20 minutes. Came up to full temperature.
