Cleaned up the v-berth in preparation for the 2019 NASS Race to Oxford and the 2019 TAYC Hammond Memorial Race .

Labeled each of the SnapWare containers and Husky (HomeDepot) multi-bin flat containers.

The Interrupt 170LP genoa is just too long for the furler as currently configured. In an effort to make it fit, removed the tack and head snape shackles from the 200 S . Lashed the head to the top swivel, which appears to have gained 3/4" of luff length. Lashed the tack to the bottom swivel/drum, which appears to have gained 1-1/4" of luff length. The two lashing gained about 2" of luff lenght which leaves the luff of the 170LP in a reasonable state for mild to medium winds. Certainly not tight, but not too woobly either. The 170LP does roll up on the furler for the first time!

In doing this, had to hoist and lower the 170LP a number of times in the slip. Fortunately, the wind was blowing nearly directly from the bow. The only difficulties in hoist were 1. the luff tape twisting in the slot and 2. the luff tape being stretched down the luff from the head towards the tack and bunching up at the last fold which would then snag on the Harken Harken Prefeeder .

TC recommends replacing the lashings with D shackles. The pin of the Selden snap shackle appears to be 6mm in diameter and about 16mm from inside face to inside face of the swivel that connects to the foil swivels. Appears that the Harken 6 mm Stamped Shackle might do the job. The same diameter forged shackle is only 14mm wide inside.

Need to take down the furler, replace the headstay with a wire long enough to remove the 6" extension plates at the top and the extra toggle at the stem, replace the top section of foil with the 2400mm section purchased from MauriPro Sailing and Marine , remove the 1000mm section below the gate, cut the previous top section to fit between the 2400mm sections above the gate and the lower swivel/drum.
