Interrupt 170LP genoa only.
Yesterday, prepared the boat for the Rankin Regatta. Replaced the foredeck cowl vent with the blanking plate. Replaced the 150LP with the 170LP.
Feeling lazy. Did not want to replace the 170LP with the 150LP for sailing only to switch back after sailing. So decided to sail with the genoa only. Good choice. The boat was sufficiently powered up to move well, 4.5 to 5.2 knots upwind, without being pressed down. Helm was surprisingly balanced. Underpowered on the way back in.
Fast on the way out. Paced a Catalina 3x that was sailing with both main and genoa. Could have had the engine running as well, or the bilge pump was very active.
