Interrupt main and Tatus II 150LP genoa.

Tied a short piece of light line from the webbing loop at the head of the genoa around the foil so that the head cannot pull away from the foil creating a tearing stress on the luff tape. Very good to have done this before using the sail. The head pendant appears to allow the head to move away from the foil stressing the luff tape. There is noticeable damage to the luff tape at the head that may be due to this stress.

Fast sailing today. Six knots plus, rising to more than seven at times, on the way down river. Good speed on the way back as well. Very good to have changed from the 170LP to the 150LP, as the 150LP was putting more than enough energy into the boat. Often bubbling the main to reduce power.
