Interrupt genoa and Interrupt mainsail.

Just a fun sail on a hot day.

Edging (binding) at the the foot of the starboard side of the genoa ripped with the foot tensioning line getting caught on a cleat on the port side of the mast. Rip is vertical. Stitching missing fore and aft of the rip. Covered the rip and six inches either side with Bainbridge sail repair tape. Need to sew this properly in addition to the tape. Tape should hold for a while.

Once again the Alerion Express 28 #203 was out sailing, this time downwind. Tacked over to a parallel course, ahead and a bit to the side of the Alerion. Proceeded to open the distance between us. Should not have happened, the Alerion owes an Alberg 30 about a minute per mile.
