- Picked up Pandora #8 Doyle mainsail from Ullman Sails. They added 3/8" foot rope, clew slug for slot in boom, and numbers for racing: $240.
- Prepared for sanding cabin by moving items into the v-berth.
- Starting at 2PM, began sanding overhead of cabin with 150 grit paper. Expanded to starboard side, down the cabin wall, under the sidedecks, settee back and seat using Ridgid quarter sheet sander.
- Lightly sanded inside the drop space behind the settee back.
- About 4PM, started on the port side next to the hand rail and the sander broke. Distorted plastic parts falling out of the device. It's done.
- Switched to hand sanding concave curves using 150 grit wrapped around a section of pool noodle.
- Seemed to have removed more than a pound of paint dust.
- Knocked off at 5PM.
