- Drilled two 7/8" holes in the bulkheads at the fore and aft ends of the port lockers. New route for electrical wiring in place of present path below the lockers. Wires will be contrained by ZipTies and tied up between the hull and the bolts securing the toe rail.
- Cut in with Rustoleum Wood and Fiberglass Primer
all surface joints, around deadlights, and around handrails.
- Rolled Rustoleum Wood and Fiberglass Primer
on the overhead, under the port side deck, and aft bulkhead.
- Used an entire quart of the primer. Marked as covering 100 sq. ft.
-
- Hull inside lockers, locker shelves, storage areas under the lockers, and settees remain unprimed at this point.
-
- Appears that the solvent in the primer loosened existing paint that had resisted scraping, sanding, and multiple washings.
