Light winds. Fortunately few wakes till the last half hour of sailing.
Chased an Alerion 28 and a larger boat tacking down river. Dogged the larger boat.
Turned around when the wind went even lighter and backed to the east such that the course varied from a beam reach to 140* apparent.
On the way back up river, paralleled a J/80 under main only that may have taken part in the 2021 J/80 North Americans. Was able to catch up to the J/80. They hoisted their asymmetric spinnaker and were able to pull ahead each time the wind gusted a bit. When the velocity fell, I was able to make ground on them.
