- Used shopvac to remove all water from the bilge.
- Ran the 1/2"x13tpi bolt, coated liberally with T-9
, completely home into the rudder stock to clean the threads.
- Threaded the 3' long 1/2"x13tpi bronze rod in the rudder stock. Looks good. Solid connection. No looseness.
- Sanded the starboard side of the hull below the waterline from the bow back to the depth sounder. Two hours using the Bosch 3017DVS 5" random orbital sander and six 60 grit Diablo 5" SandNet discs

There is a crease that runs near the length of the hull somewhat more than an inch below the current boot stripe. Possibly the original waterline?
