After being indisposed for two days, finally got back to work. Somewhat less than two hours sanding the port side using the Ridgid R26011 5" random orbital sander and 60 grit Diablo 5" SandNet discs .

Worked to connect the sanded hull to the sanded keel and to complete the sanding of the hull between the jackstands.

Found that allowing the sander to spin up to full speed before applying to hull results in a burst of paint being removed as the sander slows. Even using the sander with extremely light pressure removes material much quicker.
