It's better to sand in the 40's than in the high 50's.
Sanding to "knock back the red", if not even to "get the red out".
Sanded the port side of the counter and so finished this pass around the hull.

Sanded the port and starboard side bow back to the forward jackstands but for the very bow. Reaching that high at the end of a day's sanding was unnecessary. There were other areas that needed attention just as much.
