Replaced the 52' foot long roller furling line with a 60' length of StaSet-X that used to be the main topping lift. The line is held on the drum by a metal plate, a clamp, secured with a single screw. The screw is similar to a ~3/8" long #8 wood screw but the head is sigificantly larger in diameter. Need to replace that screw as it is not holding as strongly as it once did...the plastic of the drum is getting to be near stripped.
Greased the top swivel of the roller furler. Pushed grease into the grease opening of the lower swivel. Should have greased all the points in the low unit as well but had already reassembled the unit and was running short of time to perform the remaining tasks.
Bent on the racing sails.
Removed additional weight from the boat, various items from the lockers, both Husky tool bags, and various finishes and their solvents.
Officialy checked in for the weekend's racing.
