Motored from Annapolis City Marina to R"4". Raised sail and beat into wind, ebbing tide (flood at 0952), and waves till beyond the Bay Bridge and on course for Baltimore Light. Significantly more wave action in the bay beyond Hackett Point, quite bumpy on port tack. Wind backed to north beyond Hackett Point and backed further to beyond the Bay Bridge making the entrance to the Magothy tighter than a close hauled course from the bridge. Well developed, somewhat steep waves north of the bridge. Spray flying from the bow parting the waves.

Motorsailed with main till beyong MRSA mark "J". The strange course alternations in the Magothy after MRSA mark "J" are due to rolling the main while motoring. The main on deck acted as a bit of a saail causing the boat to roundup and fall off onto port tack. Motored the rest of the way to Potapskut Sailing Association.
