Easy sail with 135LP genoa and one reef in the main. From the Naval Academy to Y"A" outsailed some larger, more expensive boat, again. Came up onto the wind at Y"A". Performed a number of tacks to see how long it takes tack the boat and return to the same speed as before the tack...one minute...significantly longer than I would have guessed.
Turned around when the wind dropped out, about 1100. Flew the Interrupt spinnaker solo...takes a while to set up...about 11 minutes. Once set up, hoisting and trimming for speed is about the same as with crew. Carried the spinnaker till about 1200 yards from Horn Point, including flying the kite at 60* apparent with the pole tip down and the luff straightened which seems to emulate a asymmetrical spinnaker.
A very pleasant, relaxed sail.
