No water in bilge. After washing the deck today noticed water entering the bilge from the icebox. Icebox gutter and port cockpit locker gutter clogged. Guessing that rain accumulates on the port side of bridge deck and floods the bilge.
- Re-installed rudder shoe. Ovalized hole is 15/32" in long axis and 3/8" in short axis. Pin is 7/16"(!) in diameter.
- Replaced shaft zinc.
- Washed the deck.
- ScotchBrite'd the toerail, inboard and out.
- Cleaned the starboard side of the hull with FSR
.
- Washed the hull below the water line with SimpleGreen and a ScotchBrite pad. Rinsed the hull well afterward. Now ready for bottom paint.
