- Attempted to burnish the Trinidad XSR
after two days of drying time. No good. Paint dust sticks to itself and forms "clots" on the sandpaper, causing the sandpaper to slide over the surface without cutting.
- Removed the rest of the damaged wood, that could not be reached with the router, using chisel and mallet.
- Cut a replacement piece to match length of damaged area. Need to epoxy the replacement into place and shape to match the toerail.
