- Wet vac'ed all water out of the bilge and ice box. Not good. Too much water in both. May be entering via the "beer hatch". Need to find a way to seal the beer hatch in the bridgedeck. See 2015-12-21
- Removed hose connecting port cockpit scupper to port thruhull.
- Removed wad of organic matter from Groco
full flow 1" pipe/hose fitting atop Marelon value on port thruhull.
- Sighted up from outside through the port thruhull, opening very constricted appears square!
- Checked Groco (?) full flow 1" pipe/hose fitting from inside the boat, found a Craftsman 3/8" drive socket in the fitting. A 1" thruhull has an opening area of about 0.79" square inches. A 3/8" drive socket has an opening area of about 0.14 square inches...between one-fifth and one-sixth the size.
- Replaced hose connecting port cockpit scupper to port thruhull. 14" hose is too short. Should be at least 16".
- Removed some electrical wiring that was hanging loose at one or both ends.
- Removed surface mount light fixture on underside of starboard side deck in galley. Non-functional. At least one power lead went nowhere. Lamp cord feeding the light fixture was routed from electrical panel into engine space, into starboard side lazarette, into cabin and finally to light fixture. Should have been from electrical panel direct to light fixture. Insulation on wire was melted most of the way through at one point. Lamp cord discarded. Light fixture to be reinstalled after painting cabin.
