- Lightly sanded cockpit seats and companionway trim with 400 grit. The 220 grit recommended in the Application Instructions seemed to remove too much material.
- Removed sanding dust from cockpit seats and companionway trim using a wet rag -- NOT a tack rag.
- Applied third coat of Awlwood
clear gloss to cockpit seats and companionway trim. This coat required less material. Expect that this trend will continue as the surface becomes smoother.
- Applied first coat of Cetol Marine Natural Light
to coamings and icebox lid.

- Apply fourth finish coat to cockpit locker seat lids and companionway trim.
- Apply second coat to coamings and icebox lid.
- Apply Brightside to companionway rim and ruddershaft penetration.
- Reinstall engine controls.
