Batteries have been on the charger since the last outing on 2018-11-08. Fully charged. LiViDi showing 13.2 volts.
Blowing Force 4 in the slip. Headed out at 2,600rpm which as 5.6 knots or so. Once we rounded the corner at the Naval Academy and began to go directly upwind against the tide, current, and wind, speed dropped to anywhere from 3 to 4.5 knots depending upon wind speed and wave action. Most of the time running in the low three knot range. Once we made Round Bay, check the fuel level. Quite low. Added all the diesel left in the jerry can to the tank. Not much, perhaps a gallon. Enough to make the trip without concern of running out.
Changed engine and transmission oil. Propylene glycol through the engine raw water system. Removed and washed the strainer. Removed the sails.
