Log of Alberg 30 #262 on 23 July 2023

Due to the start of the 2023 AYC Annual Regatta being delayed 90 minutes was able to perform a few maintenance tasks.

• Bent on racing sails: Elliott/Pattison Sailmakers 169LP genoa and Pandora Mainsail. EP Sails spinnaker. Backstay at 2.
  
• Washed the deck.
• Cleared the cockpit locker and icebox access panel drains.
• After racing, the genoa would not come down. Issue was that the genoa block pivoted and got trapped pinching the halyard against the mast. We were able to pull it down.
• Went up the mast with Mike Nikolich's help. Turned the block athwartships and locked in place using lever built into the Harken Carbo Air 57mm Swivel .
