The fleet decided to forego spinnakers due the heavier winds in the first race of the day. Constance flew a #2 provided by Pat Seidel from boat #306. Jonathan described the sail as "blown out". In the first race, Constance finished ahead of Latika, the only time Constance finished ahead of another boat all weekend. Might have been better to use the 135LP that was aboard.

Constance retired before the last race due to a jib halyard issue that prevented switching from the #2 to the new Elliott/Pattison Sailmakers 169LP genoa. Report is that the sheave of the jib block is getting jammed against the strap eye behind the jib block that prevents the jib block from binding against the main halyard. Jonathan Adams was able to free the jam back at dock by standing on the dock and flicking the lines. Could be related to the block being a swivel that allows the jib block to rotate into a binding position.
