- Wet sanded the port and starboard bow back to somewhat aft the knotmeter and the head intake to remove nearly all the grouped flaws show in yesterday's entry.
- Some hand sanding was required as well due to the longboard passing over certain low spots.
- Wet sanded the rudder to remove nearly all the grouped flaws.
- Washed the hull using a ScotchBrite pad to remove the wet sanding residue...its a mud that sticks to the hull.
- Pretty much done after two and half to three hours of longboarding these last two days.
-
- Gray primer is peeking through the white at various locations. Some other areas appear much less white due to the thinness of the white primer coat that remains covering the grey after today's longboarding.
Before today's sanding on the left, after today's sanding on the right.
Focus on the larger flaw located directly above the bow jackstand about two-thirds of the way up towards the waterline. Compare with the same spot on 2022-04-10 and 2022-04-12.
